Out of a season of trying too hard to pull myself up by my bootstraps, to will myself to perfection, to keep it all together as a mom, wife, artist, I collapsed in exhaustion, at the end of myself, and crawled into the shadow of His wings. I finally saw how law-driven I'd become and how much I needed to hear the gospel of grace again and receive it as truth again in my life. This is my confession. My anthem of soul-surrendering.
